Presidential aide: Azerbaijan, UAE speak with one voice as strategic partners VIDEO

Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates are strategic partners that share common views and speak with one voice on regional peace and security, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev said.

Speaking at the main session of the Euronews Forum held as part of the Arab Media Summit, Hajiyev highlighted the South Caucasus and the Middle East as key components of Azerbaijan’s multifaceted geopolitical identity, stressing the country’s ties to the broader Islamic civilisation, Caliber.Az reports, citing Dubai Press Club.

“Maybe there is some geographical distance between us. We are like-minded countries, we are strategic partners, and we are speaking with one voice,” Hajiyev said, referring to Azerbaijan and the UAE.

He said the two countries’ cooperation and joint efforts were contributing to peace and security in the region.

Hajiyev also expressed his appreciation for the UAE and its cities, describing himself as feeling “more than comfortable” in the country.

“Once again, my congratulations to my UAE brothers. Whatever is written and said in the international media, we are here, and we will return back to this beautiful city over and over again,” he added.
