Now Azerbaijani citizens can visit 72 countries without visa
Azerbaijan has taken 72nd place in the updated rating of Henley & Partners Visa Restrictions Index. Citizens of the republic can visit 72 countries without a visa.
Six countries are recognised as the owner of the “strongest” passport in the world, allowing you to visit other countries without a visa or receiving one upon arrival: France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Singapore and Spain, since the passports of these countries allow you to travel freely to 194 countries of the world, Report informs, citing the organisation's report.
In second place are South Korea, Finland, Sweden and the Netherlands, with whose passport you can travel to 193 countries without a visa.
In third are Austria, Denmark, the UK and Ireland with visa-free access to 192 countries.
The Henley&Partners World Visa Restrictions Index analyses the visa regulations of more than 200 countries and territories around the world and ranks them according to the number of visa-free countries. Updated annually, the Henley Passport Index is considered a standard reference tool for global citizens and sovereign nations in assessing the place of the passport in the global mobility spectrum.
