Palestinian leader to meet with Russian counterpart soon

Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas is scheduled to visit Russia from August 12 to 14.

"He will arrive on August 12. Negotiations with Putin are scheduled for August 13, and he will depart on August 14," the source said.

Previously, the source had mentioned the Palestinian leader's plans to visit Russia several times but had indicated August 18 as the date.
