Second Global Media Forum continues in Shusha with discussions on disinformation

The Second Global Media Forum in Shusha presses on with its important agenda.

Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Department under the Presidential Administration, is set to officially address the forum, as reported by Caliber.Az via local media.

The forum's activities include a series of engaging panel discussions. The first panel, moderated by TRT World Chief Producer Ghida Fakhry, is titled "Assessing Influence: Establishing the Scope of Disinformation."

This discussion aims to delve deep into the pervasiveness and impact of disinformation in today's media landscape.

Following this, Ezzeddine Abdelmoula, Manager of Al Jazeera Research Centre, will lead the second panel on "Policies and Initiatives for Building a More Disinformation Resistant Society."

This session will explore various strategies and frameworks designed to fortify society against the threats posed by false narratives.

Over 150 foreign guests from almost 50 countries, including representatives of news agencies from about 30 countries, 3 international organizations, and 82 media entities are participating in the Second Shusha Global Media Forum on the theme ‘Exposing False Narratives: Combating Disinformation’.
