Azerbaijan, Serbia talk over expanding business ties

Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Serbia, Tahir Taghizada, has discussed bilateral cooperation with Serbia’s state secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Damjan Jovic.

The meeting highlighted the traditionally friendly relations between Serbia and Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

The two sides expressed readiness to further intensify cooperation in areas of mutual interest, particularly in the economic sphere.

Taghizada and Jovic welcomed the launch of a direct Belgrade-Baku flight and expressed hope that the route would contribute to the development of tourism and expand ties between the two countries’ business communities.
