Armenian delegation observes NATO exercises in Bulgaria
An Armenian delegation, headed by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Director of the Rescue Service Kamo Tsutsulyan, participated as an observer in field exercises jointly organised by NATO and Bulgaria.
The exercises took place from September 8 to 11 in the Bulgarian cities of Sofia and Montana, the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on Facebook, according to Caliber.Az.
The exercises aimed to enhance the capabilities of NATO allies and partner countries in managing emergencies and addressing security challenges.
They also sought to facilitate the exchange of best practices among participating nations and organisations and to strengthen international cooperation.
Approximately 1,200 personnel took part in the exercises.
During the program, Kamo Tsutsulyan participated in panel discussions focused on information threats and crisis management.
Other representatives of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs observed practical demonstrations of innovative technologies and systems, including applications of artificial intelligence in crisis and emergency response.
