Armenian MP: Yerevan ready for Moscow meeting without preconditions
13 February 2023 12:32
Armenia does not consider the "opening" of the Lachin road to be a prerequisite for participation in the talks between Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia's foreign ministers.
Sargis Khandanyan, a member of the Armenian parliament’s ruling Civil Contract faction, made the remarks at a parliamentary briefing, Caliber.Az reports, quoting Armenian media.
"The opening of the Lachin corridor is not a precondition for us," the politician said.
He recalled that Russia itself had previously stated that it was preparing a meeting at the level of foreign ministers.
According to Khandanyan, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan’s participation in this meeting depends on the situation.
