China-Uzbekistan trade sees significant growth in first ten months of 2025
Trade between China and Uzbekistan has seen significant growth in the first ten months of 2025, with the total trade turnover rising 17.2 percent year-on-year to reach $12.8 billion.
Data released by China’s General Administration of Customs shows that Chinese exports to Uzbekistan increased by 21.3 percent over the period, totaling 11.382 billion dollars. In contrast, imports from Uzbekistan declined by 6.5 percent year-on-year, amounting to $1.5 billion, Caliber.Az reports.
In October 2025 alone, bilateral trade reached 1.38 billion dollars, with Chinese exports accounting for $1.22 billion and imports from Uzbekistan totaling $157 million.
For the full year of 2024, China-Uzbekistan trade amounted to $13.78 billion, reflecting a slight decrease of 1.8 percent compared to 2023, according to the General Administration of Customs.
