Asian travel experts discover Azerbaijan’s tourism gems at Expo 2025 PHOTO
Azerbaijan is presenting its rich tourism potential at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, through its national pavilion.
According to Caliber.Az, citing the State Agency for Tourism, the country’s participation is being coordinated by the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau, which recently organised a series of events to promote Azerbaijan as a travel destination to regional partners and media representatives.
As part of these efforts, a networking session was held with the participation of 30 key tourism industry representatives from Japan and various other Asian countries. Additionally, a dedicated media event brought together 30 journalists and media professionals. Both events featured detailed presentations highlighting Azerbaijan’s wine-making traditions and the growing potential of its wine tourism sector.
In keeping with the theme of Azerbaijan’s “Seven Beauties” pavilion, the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau introduced an interactive initiative titled “Seven Routes of Azerbaijan.” This program offers Expo visitors the chance to explore the country’s diverse tourism offerings, from its natural landscapes to its cultural heritage and historical landmarks.
Azerbaijan’s national pavilion is situated within the “Connecting Lives” zone of Expo 2025 and is themed “Seven Bridges for Sustainability,” aligning with the broader goals of sustainable development and international cooperation.
