Three people were injured as a result of an attack on Krasnodar, the regional operational headquarters reported.
“Due to falling UAV debris, several apartments were damaged in Krasnodar’s Prikubansky district. In a multi-storey residential building, windows were shattered in apartments on neighboring floors, and one of the balconies was also damaged. No fires broke out. <…> According to updated information, three people were injured as a result of the UAV crash in Krasnodar. One adult and two children received the necessary medical assistance on site without hospitalization,” the statement said.
More than 60 UAVs were shot down over Taganrog and six districts of the Rostov region, ASTRA reports.
As a result of the massive drone attack on the city, one person was killed. One of the injured remains in hospital, with doctors assessing her condition as stable. Another seven people were injured but declined hospitalisation and were treated on site, Governor Yury Slyusar said.
According to him, the most severe damage was recorded in Taganrog: falling debris caused residential buildings and cars to catch fire. A total of 12 apartment buildings, 27 private houses, 10 vehicles, and School No. 26 were damaged. Residents were evacuated, and the fires have been extinguished.
Slyusar also noted that gas pipes were damaged in one of the houses (the gas supply has been shut off), and drone debris was found near a multi-storey building — bomb disposal experts are working at the scene. In the village of Nikolayevka in the Neklinovsky district, a gas pipe was also damaged, though no casualties were reported there. Efforts to deal with the aftermath of the attack are ongoing.
