ASUS to raise prices on laptops, PCs, and components
ASUS has informed its partners of an upcoming price increase on its products, which will take effect from 5 January, reports Kotaku. The company cites rising memory costs and a persistent global supply shortage as the reason for the adjustment.
ASUS emphasises that the price revision is necessary to maintain stable supply, preserve device quality, and uphold service standards. The increase will affect products directly linked to memory and storage costs, including laptops, desktop PCs, and certain components.
The timing of the announcement is noteworthy: it comes just before CES 2026, where ASUS traditionally unveils its latest innovations. Given already high prices, this may prompt the market to reassess expectations for the cost of the company’s next-generation devices.
