Azerbaijan Airlines, Italian company discuss civil aviation cooperation
Prospects for cooperation in civil aviation were discussed on October 18 at a meeting between AZAL President Jahangir Askerov and Marco Buratti, Senior Vice President of the Italian company Leonardo.
The parties at the meeting touched upon the issues of cooperation in the field of maintenance and repair of aircraft, as well as the introduction of promising and modern innovative air navigation technologies, Trend reports citing the press service of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC.
As a result of the negotiations, projects for the development of the infrastructure of the air navigation system of Azerbaijan were agreed upon.
An exchange of views on the development of ties between companies in various areas in the civil aviation of Azerbaijan was also held during the event held and a wide potential for fruitful cooperation with the Italian aviation industry was noted.
