Azerbaijan-funded learning center opens in Afghanistan for Afshari people PHOTOS
A new educational centre has opened it's doors for children in Afghanistan with the help of Azerbaijani funding.
The learning facility called "Afshar Ulduzu" (Star of Afshar) is located in the capital city of Kabul as receives funding from the Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA), Caliber.Az reports citing Azerbaijan's diplomatic corpus in Afghanistan.

It is worth noting that the Afshar people are ethnically of Azerbaijani origin and migrated to Afghanistan during the reign of Nadir Shah Afshar, the Ruler of Persia from 1736 to 1747 who started the powerful Afsharid dynasty.
