Azerbaijan men's fencing team grab gold at Islamic Solidarity Games

The Azerbaijani men's fencing team won a gold medal at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games in the Turkish Konya on August 17.

Azerbaijani athletes Ruslan Hasanov, Kanan Aliyev and Barat Guliyev met with a team from Iran in the final, Report informs.

All the fencers representing Azerbaijan individually defeated an Iranian opponent with a score of 45:35, taking the highest step of the podium.

Earlier, the Azerbaijani women's team of fencers became the winner of the Games.
