US, Azerbaijan strengthen trade, logistics cooperation along Middle Corridor
Representatives from Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee met with delegates from the US Certified Trade Mission on the Middle Corridor during the latter’s ongoing visit to Azerbaijan.
The discussions centered on expanding collaboration between the customs authorities of both countries, focusing on streamlining customs procedures to facilitate smoother trade flows. A key topic was the advancement of digital solutions aimed at simplifying processes along the strategically important Middle Corridor, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
Participants also exchanged insights on existing business partnerships established with customs services across the region to enhance the corridor’s competitiveness and attractiveness to international trade and investment.
The US trade mission is tasked with acquainting representatives from the American private sector with the array of opportunities available within the Middle Corridor countries, particularly in the domains of trade, energy, infrastructure, and logistics.
