Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan eye cooperation in construction, urban development PHOTO
Azerbaijan has expressed appreciation for Turkmenistan’s support in large-scale restoration and reconstruction projects in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur economic regions.
“We greatly appreciate Turkmenistan’s support for the large-scale restoration and reconstruction work being carried out in the economic regions of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur,” Anar Guliyev, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, said during a meeting with Toiguly Nurov, Turkmenistan’s Minister of Industry and Construction, Caliber.Az reports.

Guliyev highlighted the mosque under construction in the city of Fuzuli, describing it as both a significant architectural project and a symbol of friendship, brotherhood, and shared spiritual values between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. He said the project reflects growing humanitarian and cultural ties between the two countries.

The two sides also discussed the current state and future prospects of strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan.
According to officials, the meeting included an exchange of views on expanding cooperation in urban planning, construction, infrastructure development, the adoption of modern technologies, and the implementation of joint projects.
