Azerbaijani civilian injured in mine blast in Lachin
A shepherd was injured as a result of an anti-personnel mine explosion in the Sus village of Lachin District on April 12.
Ramil Azizov, born in 2001, was wounded in the leg following the mine blast and was taken to a hospital by police officers on duty in the area, Caliber.Az reports, citing Interior Ministry.
According to the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office, officers of the Lachin District Prosecutor's Office inspected the scene of the incident.
The Lachin District Prosecutor's Office is currently investigating the case.
As a result of the explosion of mines planted by the Armenian armed forces, a total of 51 people, including military personnel and civilians, have been killed and 239 people have received various degrees of physical injuries since the cessation of hostilities according to the agreement of November 10, 2020, the Prosecutor General's Office said.
