Azerbaijani deputy PM holds talks with Iranian FM in Tehran
On October 15, Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev, who is on a visit to Tehran, met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
The issues discussed during the meeting are yet to be announced, Caliber.Az reports, citing Iranian media.
To recap, on October 14, Mustafayev and Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian discussed further enhancement of relations between the two neighbouring countries.
Pezeshkian reiterated that Iran welcomes the establishment of railways and roads between the two neighbouring countries, also voicing Tehran’s readiness to engage in energy and agricultural cooperation with Azerbaijan.
For his part, Mustafayev expressed his country's eagerness for the enhancement of relations with Iran in different economic, commercial, energy, cultural, transit and security areas, as well as the completion and expansion of railway and road transportation lines.
