Azerbaijani gymnasts win gold medals in Italy PHOTO

The Rome Cup international rhythmic gymnastics tournament started in the Italian capital on July 14.

Twelve gymnasts of the Ojag Sports Club are representing Azerbaijan at the competition, Report informs.

Two gymnasts from the Zagatala subdivision of the club are also performing at the tournament.

Nilay Punxanli (no apparatus, ball), Nargiz Aliyeva (no apparatus, ball), Michelle Aniskina (no apparatus, ball), Aylin Yusifli (no apparatus, ball), Fatima Zeynalova (hula hoop) won gold medals at the competition.

In addition, Leyla Hasratova of Zagatala met expectations and won two gold medals (no apparatus, mace).

Sara Atakishiyeva won a gold medal in the movements with clubs and a bronze medal with the ball. Another team member, Malak Mahmudlu, won a bronze medal in exercise with maces.
