Azerbaijani Ministry of Communications: WhatsApp failure observed globally

As previously reported, there were problems with the WhatsApp social network on October 25.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport told APA that this issue is currently being investigated:

"Currently, there are problems with the operation of WhatsApp application. The Electronic Security Service under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan reports that the problem that has arisen in the operation of the application is observed not only on the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, but also at the global level. According to Meta Platforms, Inc, which owns WhatsApp, work is underway to get the app back up and running."
