Azerbaijani, Uzbek think tanks to cooperate

Azerbaijani and Uzbek think tanks have reached an agreement on cooperation.

Under the reached agreement, the Azerbaijani Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications and the Centre for Strategic and Regional Studies under Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will cooperate, Report informs.

At the meeting of the two centres, Vusal Gasimli of the Azerbaijani Centre for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications recalled Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's visit to Uzbekistan and noted the great potential for cooperation between the two countries.

Akramzhan Nematov, first deputy director of the Center for Strategic and Regional Studies under the Uzbek president expressed satisfaction with the first visit to Azerbaijan and added that the meeting of the presidents of the two countries and the implementation of the signed documents can turn both countries into trans-regional centres in Central Asia.
