Azerbaijanis Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council condemns European Parliament's biased resolution Calls for fair treatment

Azerbaijan successfully cooperates with international organisations to discuss issues of mutual interest and in the country's national interest. 

This is stated in the statement of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council of Azerbaijanis sent to the European Parliament in connection with the biased resolution adopted against Azerbaijan, Report informs.

However, under the influence of external forces, some organisations demonstrate a biased and prejudiced attitude towards Azerbaijan.

"The biased attitude has become chronic in the European Parliament. The Council considers the adoption of a biased resolution on civil society and human rights in Azerbaijan in the European Parliament on April 25, 2024, as a biased political action against our country and assesses it as part of a smear campaign against Azerbaijan," the statement reads.

The Council condemned the European Parliament's biased resolution against Azerbaijan and called for an end to the policy of double standards.
