Bahrain, Egypt assess fallout of Iranian strikes
Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani held a phone call with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty to discuss the current regional situation, the serious military escalation, and the impact of Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain, several Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, and other Arab states.
Abdelatty affirmed Egypt’s full solidarity with Bahrain and the GCC countries, Caliber.Az reports via Bahrain News Agency.
He condemned the attacks and firmly rejected any attempts to justify violations of state sovereignty or undermine security, warning of serious consequences from the ongoing escalation.
Al Zayani thanked his Egyptian counterpart for condemning the Iranian missile strikes, emphasised the value of Egypt’s solidarity with Bahrain and the GCC, and praised Egypt’s support for regional security, Arab unity, and the promotion of coordinated action.
