Belarusian army intends to exchange experience with PMC Wagner
The Belarusian military is planning to exchange experience with representatives of PMC "Wagner" after their arrival in the republic.
"Upon the arrival of representatives of PMC "Wagner" and their dispersal at the training grounds for training and mutual exchange of experience, it is planned to pay special attention to the techniques and methods of combat operations of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus," the press service of the Belarusian Defence Ministry said in a statement, TASS reports.
On June 6, during a meeting with foreign and Belarusian journalists, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that Minsk offered to use "several former military camps, used in Soviet times," including near Osipovichi, to accommodate PMC fighters.
The Belarusian president noted that the leaders of the PMC "Wagner" have "a different vision on their deployment," although he had already pointed out to them that "one should live in civilized conditions, especially in Belarus.
Lukashenko also informed that to date, the issue of redeployment of Wagner soldiers, located in Russia, to Belarus has not been resolved, as "it depends on the leadership of the Russian Federation".
