Brazil to invite Russian leader to G20 summit
Head of the Brazilian Foreign Ministry's Social Communications Department Joel Souza Pinto Sampaio has announced that Brazilian authorities will extend an invitation to Russian President Vladimir Putin for the upcoming G20 summit.
Invitations will be sent to all participating countries in the coming weeks, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
Earlier, Marat Berdyev, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that Russia intends to firmly counter any attempts to politicize economic international cooperation issues at the G20 meeting. Scheduled to be held in Rio de Janeiro on November 18-19, the summit will address complex international relations, including ongoing conflicts, instability, and trade wars.
