China discovers one of world’s largest gold deposits

In its new article, MSN describes that a groundbreaking discovery in China revealed one of the largest gold deposits ever found. 

Scientists in China have uncovered one of the biggest gold reserves ever, estimated to be worth around $80 billion. 

This remarkable discovery was made in Pingjiang County, located in Hunan province.

The reserve is made up of 40 gold veins, which are believed to contain around 300 tons of gold, buried 2,000 meters underground.

After this discovery, researchers have started drilling even deeper, targeting depths of up to 3,000 meters, with the aim of uncovering more gold. Experts estimate that one of the gold veins holds 138 grams of gold per ton of minerals.

The team used advanced 3D geological modeling technology to pinpoint the location of the deposit, helping them map the area and identify the zones with the highest gold concentrations.

As a result of this find, Hunan province could be on track to become one of the top gold markets globally.
