Community chairman: Armenians kill not only Azerbaijanis

Azerbaijani MP, chairman of the board of the Community of Western Azerbaijan Aziz Alakbarli has said that Armenians killed not only Azerbaijanis but also Jews, Russians, and representatives of other nationalities.

Alakbarli made the remarks at a meeting with a delegation of the TurkPA Commission on Environment, Natural Resources and Health Protection, according to Azertag.

He noted that throughout history, Armenians from Iran and the Ottoman Empire moved to Western Azerbaijan, which is the ancestral land of Azerbaijan.

Alakbarli noted that Armenians deported Azerbaijanis from Western Azerbaijan four times in the last century.

The MP stated that the Armenians killed not only Azerbaijanis but also Jews, Russians and people of other nationalities. They pursued the goal of clearing the South Caucasus of other peoples for only Armenians to live there.

“People who lived in Western Azerbaijan want to return to their native lands now. We, as a community of Western Azerbaijan, have developed the concept of return. We want to return to our houses, to the lands of our ancestors peacefully,” he added.
