Crimean resistance group targets critical communications node in Russia's Kursk photo / video
The ATESH partisan movement has claimed responsibility for a sabotage operation in Kursk that destroyed a communications tower used by Russian military and security structures.
According to the movement’s Telegram channel, the attack inflicted significant damage on the region’s communications network. The operation targeted a major communications hub routinely used by units of the Russian Armed Forces and security agencies operating in Kursk.
ATESH reported that the destruction of the tower disrupted communication links between the 27th RCBPT (Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops) brigade, the FSB branch in the Kursk region, the FSIN regional office, and several other military facilities. The group described the action as “a direct blow to the regime’s internal infrastructure,” asserting that the operation demonstrated that resistance is possible “everywhere.”
The movement further stated that severing communications between key military units and command centres in this border region substantially hampers the coordination of Russian forces.
ATESH argued that the incident shows that even in areas such as the Kursk region, Russian military and security personnel “cannot feel safe.”
