Croatian FM rebukes Serbs for waiving anti-Russian sanctions

17 October 2022 14:03

Croatian Foreign and European Affairs Minister Gordan Grlić-Radman, during a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the EU countries, said that Serbia's refusal to participate in sanctions against Russia is contrary to the foreign and security policy of the EU. The broadcast was conducted on the website of the European Commission.

Grlić-Radman emphasized that Serbia is a candidate country for EU membership.

“When it comes to our neighbourhood, Serbia is a candidate for the EU and ignores the imposition of sanctions against Russia. This is not in line with the foreign and security policy of the EU, and the position of the European Commission confirms this,” the politician said.
