Envoy: Health of Azerbaijani embassy staffers injured in terror attack "under control"

The health of the Azerbaijani embassy employees, who were injured during a terrorist attack on the embassy in Iran on January 27 is "under control".

The statement came from Azerbaijani ambassador Ali Alizade, who was evacuated from Iran, Report informs.

It should be recalled at about 8:30 a.m. Baku time on January 27, an armed attack was carried out on the Azerbaijani embassy in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The attacker broke through to the security post and killed the head of the security service with a Kalashnikov assault rifle. Two embassy security officers were injured while repelling the attack. The terrorist was neutralised by embassy staff.
