Erdogan leaves for Uzbekistan
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan left for a visit to Uzbekistan on November 8 to participate in the sixteenth summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
The plane with the Turkish head of state on board took off from Esenboga Airport in Ankara at 11.00 local time, Anadolu reports.
President Erdogan was seen off at the airport by Vice President Jevdet Yilmaz, Director of Administrative Affairs of the Presidential Administration Metin Kiratli, and Ankara Governor Vaksip Shahin.
During the visit, the Turkish head of state is accompanied by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Trade Minister Omer Bolat, Head of the Liaison Office under the Presidential Administration Fahrettin Altun, Chief Advisor to the President Ambassador Akif Chaghatay Kilich and Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Binali Yildirim.
