Ex-separatist minister unveils details of "Moskva" cruisers sinking
Former head of the “Ministry of Defence” of the so-called “DPR” (Donbas People’s Republic), one of the main supporters of the independence of Donbass, Igor Strelkov-Girkin shared the details of the sinking of "Moskva" cruiser by the Ukrainian army.
“Two missiles: the first in the bow, the second in the stern,” he said in an interview with the Kovalev Principle channel.
“Both are below the waterline. First, the artillery cellar of the 130-millimeter turret exploded as a result of the first missile hit, then the ammunition for the Volcanoes, two multi-barreled anti-aircraft guns, detonated,” he noted.
“The command post was disabled, the S-300 installations were not even opened, and at that moment the second missile hits the hold in the stern. Accordingly, the cruiser lies on its side and sinks after some time, from 1 to 3 hours. I don’t know for sure,” Strelkov-Girkin said.
