Food poisoning at wedding in Türkiye leaves over 90 people hospitalised

At least 91 people were hospitalised following a suspected mass food poisoning incident at a wedding in the northern Turkish city of Kastamonu over the weekend.

Guests began reporting symptoms of nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea shortly after consuming food served at the event, which was held in the city center. Victims were transported to local hospitals by both ambulances and private vehicles, according to local authorities, Caliber.Az reports via Turkish media.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the source of contamination.
