FM: Sweden to keep its promise regarding PKK

"There will be no ill-considered actions by the Swedish government regarding the PKK."

The remarks came from the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Tobias Billström, AP reports.

The minister said that the new Swedish government shares Türkiye's concerns about the PKK, which is recognized as a terrorist organization in Europe and the United States.

“There will be no rash actions by the Swedish government regarding the PKK. We fully support the policy that terrorist organizations have no right to operate on Swedish territory. Everything that is written in the tripartite memorandum and agreed upon by all three parties should be carried out. Everything should be done legally and safely,” Billström said.
