Former army corps commander arrested in Armenia

The Anti-Corruption Court of Appeals in Armenia has granted a motion of the Prosecutor's Office to arrest Grigoriy Khachaturov, the former commander of the 3rd Army Corps, as a measure of restraint.

The due information was disseminated by the prosecutor's office, Caliber.Az reports quoting Armenian media.

It is noted that the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia filed a complaint to the Criminal Court of Appeal against the decision to reject the request for the arrest of Grigoriy Khachaturov. The Anti-Corruption Court presided over by judge Tigran Davtyan, rejected a motion to apply a pre-trial restriction in the form of detention.
