Behind the cabin, the twin-barrel 35mm KORKUT gun system is paired with ASELSAN’s AKREP fire control radar. Previously deployed on tracked platforms manufactured by FNSS, and demonstrated on the Otokar ARMA 8x8 wheeled vehicle at the 2024 Eurosatory exhibition in Paris, ASELSAN has successfully integrated the KORKUT system onto a Tatra-produced truck.
ASELSAN has already supplied many 35mm KORKUT systems to the Turkish Armed Forces and continues expanding the system’s versatility across different platforms.
The company is also developing new 25mm and 30mm variants utilizing KORKUT technology. This truck-mounted configuration reflects ASELSAN’s drive to offer more cost-effective and adaptable air defense solutions, driven by increasing market demand and export potential.
Additionally, the KORKUT system was showcased in February at the IDEX exhibition in Abu Dhabi mounted on an 8x8 armored vehicle produced by UAE-based Calidus.
