Car hits group of people and bus stop in Russia's Yaroslavl, killing one PHOTO

A foreign-made car struck a group of people and a bus stop complex in the Russian city of Yaroslavl on Saturday, September 5, killing one person and injuring two others, the regional Interior Ministry said.

The accident occurred at about 8:18 a.m. Moscow time, near 1 Tutaevskoye Highway, according to the authorities.

“At about 08:18 Moscow time, in the area of No. 1 on Tutaevskoye Highway, the driver of a foreign-made car struck a group of people and a bus stop complex. According to preliminary information, a male pedestrian born in 1985 was killed in the crash, while two other people were taken to hospital for medical treatment,” the regional Interior Ministry said.

The circumstances of the crash are being established.
