Russia targets production and loading facility at Ukraine’s Izmail port
Russian forces attacked a production and loading facility at the port of Izmail in Ukraine with drones overnight on September 7.
The facility was used to unload military cargo supplied to the Ukrainian Armed Forces by Western countries, Caliber.Az reports via the Russian Defence Ministry.
The ministry also stated that a patrol boat involved in escorting vessels carrying military cargo was hit in the Black Sea overnight.
In addition, the ministry said the Mavka dry cargo vessel carrying military equipment was struck at the port of Chornomorsk on the evening of September 6.
The Russian Defence Ministry regularly reports strikes on Ukrainian ports. The ministry said on September 5 that Russian forces had also targeted vessels in the ports of Chornomorsk and Odesa.
