Russian presidential aide arrives at Moscow airport to meet US negotiators VIDEO/UPDATED

Kirill Dmitriev, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s special representative, has arrived at Vnukovo Airport in Moscow to meet US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, according to Russian media reports.

Dmitriev is expected to receive the two representatives of US President Donald Trump as they begin talks in Moscow as part of Washington’s diplomatic efforts to end the Russia-Ukraine war.

Vehicles belonging to the motorcade that will receive U.S. negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have arrived at Vnukovo Airport in Moscow, Russia’s RIA Novosti news agency reported.

Witkoff and Kushner, representatives of U.S. President Donald Trump, are expected to visit Moscow before travelling to Kyiv as part of Washington’s diplomatic efforts related to the Russia-Ukraine war.

The two U.S. negotiators are scheduled to visit Moscow and Kyiv on September 5–6. Current reports say they are expected to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow before travelling to Kyiv for talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
