Media: Ukrainian drone strike kills one, injures four in Russia’s Perm PHOTO / VIDEO / UPDATED
A Ukrainian drone strike on a high-rise residential building in Russia’s Perm left one person dead and four others injured, the SHOT Telegram channel reports, citing local residents.
According to eyewitnesses, loud explosions began around 5:30 a.m. The drone strike reportedly damaged eight floors of the apartment building, while those injured are currently receiving medical assistance.
Authorities have set up a temporary accommodation centre for residents of the building, the governor said.
Meanwhile, debris from the downing of drones during the attack fell on a private house and the surrounding property. No one was injured there.

The blast wave was so powerful that it shattered the windows of a nearby bus.
No casualties have been reported.

The Russian city of Perm has come under attack by Ukrainian drones after a drone alert was declared in the region.
ASTRA Telegram channel received photos and videos showing drones flying over the city.
Perm was previously attacked on August 21. At the time, a drone strike on Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez oil refinery reportedly damaged a primary atmospheric-vacuum distillation unit.
Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez, part of the Lukoil group, is one of Russia’s largest oil refineries. Located in Perm, the facility processes more than 13 million metric tons of crude oil annually.
