Russia opens terrorism case over drone attack in Perm

Russia’s Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case under the terrorism statute following a drone attack on civilian targets in the city of Perm, the committee confirmed. 

Reports of the attack emerged earlier today, on September 7, with preliminary information indicating that one of the drones struck a high-rise residential building.

The incident killed one person and injured four others.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the attack and assessing the extent of the damage.
