France allocates millions for humanitarian aid to Lebanon
France has announced €6 million in emergency aid for Lebanon amid a worsening humanitarian crisis, with 20 tons of supplies to arrive soon, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot announced on X
The minister noted that the French government called for an emergency UN Security Council meeting to discuss the situation in Lebanon and regional stabilisation measures.

Additionally, a co-financing fund has been opened at the Orsay waterfront Crisis Centre for companies and local authorities wishing to support the population.
“We continue to exchange information with Lebanese and Israeli authorities to prevent the country from descending into chaos, ensure a ceasefire, and maintain the necessary process of disarming Hezbollah,” Barrot wrote.
