France sends 10 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Lebanon
France has dispatched 10 tonnes of humanitarian assistance to Lebanon, the deputy spokesperson of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs Pascal Confavreux confirmed.
The latest shipment, which “took off today,” follows a larger 60-tonne delivery sent last month as part of France’s ongoing response to the worsening humanitarian situation in Lebanon, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
According to French authorities, the aid package includes tents, cooking kits, solar lamps provided by Electriciens sans Frontières, health kits from Tulipe, as well as emergency relief supplies from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies network.
Officials said the assistance is intended to directly benefit displaced populations, many of whom are facing worsening living conditions and limited access to essential services.
