French FM: G20 cannot distract from war in Ukraine
The most developed countries in the world can not avert their eyes from the war in Ukraine, unleashed by Russia, because of the unpredictable consequences for the global economy.
This was stated by French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, RBC-Ukraine reports citing the press service of the Foreign Ministry.
"The G20 cannot distract from the war in Ukraine because it directly affects the world economy. The war affects us all and could lead to a global recession if we don't take action," Colonna stressed.
According to her, Russia's war against Ukraine is a new shock to the world economy. And the responsibility for all the consequences for the world lies solely on Russia. The Minister is also sure that Moscow holds the world population hostage by blocking the export of Ukrainian grain.
The same, she says, applies to energy exports: Russia decides to create an artificial shortage of supplies to cause a sharp rise in prices so that Putin can replenish his military budget.
