On October 6, members of the French opposition took to social network X to call on President Emmanuel Macron to step down following Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu’s resignation, Caliber.Az reports.
In his X account, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, founder of the left-wing party La France Insoumise, wrote: “After the resignation of Sébastien Lecornu, we call for the immediate consideration of the proposal signed by 104 MPs demanding Emmanuel Macron’s resignation.”

Le compte à rebours est lancé.
Macron doit partir.
“The countdown has begun. Macron must go,” she stated.
Other members of La France Insoumise also voiced similar demands.
The latest political turmoil comes after Lecornu resigned, citing an unworkable parliamentary configuration and the inability to form a stable governing coalition, deepening France’s ongoing political crisis.
