Fujitsu introduces world's lightest laptop

With the UH-X/H1, Fujitsu has launched one of the lightest 14-inch laptops in the world.

The weight of the novelty is only 689 grams, writes IT Home. A 12.9-inch iPad Pro tablet (LTE version) weighs almost as much – 685 grams, Tech  News Space reports.

The low weight of the device is due to the materials used in its manufacture. The laptop’s lid is made of carbon fiber, the bottom is made of magnesium-lithium alloy, and the keyboard is made of durable and lightweight magnesium alloy. The thickness of the novelty is from 15.8 to 17.3 mm.

The Fujitsu UH-X/H1 is based on an Intel Core i7-1355U with 10 cores and a clock frequency of up to 5.0 GHz. The laptop received 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, along with a PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD with a capacity of 512GB. The novelty is equipped with a 14-inch display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. The Fujitsu UH-X/H1 features include USB 3.1 Type-C, USB 3.0, HDMI and Gigabit LAN ports.

Fujitsu UH-X/H1 will be available in Japanese retail outlets from March 9th. The novelty was valued at 240,000 yen (about $1850).
