Hezbollah: Over 90 Israeli soldiers killed, 750 injured in southern Lebanon Since October 1
Hezbollah reports significant losses inflicted on Israeli forces in Southern Lebanon, including substantial personnel and equipment damage across five frontlines.
According to the communiqué on the group’s Telegram channel, Hezbollah's forces have killed over 90 Israeli soldiers and officers and injured an additional 750 since October 1 during ongoing clashes, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.
The group also claims to have destroyed 38 Merkava tanks, four bulldozers, and four armoured vehicles and downed three Hermes 450 drones and one Hermes 900 drone using guided missiles.
The statement adds that Israel has deployed five divisions along the Lebanon-Israel border: the 146th Armoured Division in the western sector from En-Naqoura to Marwahin; the 36th Armoured Division in the central sector from Rmeish to Aitaroun; the 91st Territorial Division from Blida to Houla; the 98th Reserve Airborne Division aiming to advance towards El-Adaisseh, Marqab, and Rab-Taliatin; and the 210th Territorial Division in the eastern sector near Ghajar, Kafr Shuba, and Shebaa.
The communiqué asserts that Israeli forces have yet to fully capture any southern Lebanese villages, while resistance fighters have intensified their attacks, targeting strategic enemy bases within Israel with high-precision missiles. Over the past four days, Hezbollah claims to have launched 103 strikes on these targets.
Meanwhile, Israel has launched an extensive air assault on eastern Lebanon. Israeli strikes affected 18 villages, resulting in 61 fatalities and around 100 injuries.
The source added that ongoing shelling by Israeli forces is hindering search and rescue efforts. In some areas, rescue teams are still clearing rubble in hopes of locating survivors trapped beneath.
