A high-speed passenger train in France collided with a lorry on the morning of April 7, leaving at least one person dead and several others injured, according to local reports.
The incident involved a TGV service travelling from Dunkirk to Paris carrying around 250 passengers when it struck a trailer attached to an army truck during rush hour, Caliber.Az reports per Bastion.

The train’s driver, a 56-year-old man, was killed in the collision, while 27 people sustained injuries.
The driver of the lorry was also seriously injured, media reports said.
The high-speed rail service involved, the TGV, is France’s flagship intercity rail network.
French Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot said he intends to visit the site of the accident as investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
