Intelligence agencies: Pakistan considering all response options To Iran's attack
Pakistan is considering all options to respond to Iran's attack on Balochistan province on January 16.
Iran claims to have attacked “a group of Jaish ul Adl militants” in the Panjgur border village, but in reality the attack targeted innocent children, High-ranking officials in Pakistani intelligence agencies told Anadolu Agency.
The sources noted that Pakistan did not rashly react to the Iranian attack, but referred to the response given to India due to the Balakot attack in February 2019, noting that Islamabad is good at “responding”.
A very important and urgent meeting on the issue is underway and all options to respond to the Iranian attack are under consideration, the sources said.
Pakistan understands the current situation in the region. Iran intends to remain on the agenda while it cannot make a significant contribution to ending the conflict in the Gaza Strip, Pakistani intelligence agencies noted.
