Iran calls for probe after Palestinians found "buried alive" in Gaza
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani has called for an international investigation into reports that Israeli soldiers crushed Palestinians using bulldozers in the courtyard of a hospital in Gaza and buried some of them alive.
In a post on social media on December 18, Kanaani shared some photos of the aftermath of a devastating Israeli raid against Kamal Adwan Hospital, which appear to show some injured Palestinians having been buried alive in the hospital’s courtyard, IRNA reports.
“The true face and anti-human nature of the Israeli regime has never been more exposed than in the war against Gaza,” he said.
He emphasized the need for international investigations into the new atrocity in Kamal Adwan Hospital, calling for accountability for those responsible for the destruction of medical facilities and harm to civilians.
On December 16, doctors and other witnesses said Israeli forces destroyed tents housing displaced Palestinians near the hospital with bulldozers and crushed them to death.
